Born in 1976 from the quest for sporting performance by Jean-François Fountaine, Yves Pajot and Daniel Givon, the Fountaine Pajot shipyard launched its first cruising catamaran in 1983 and began the Motor Yachts adventure in 1998. We have acquired our position as an international reference thanks to our constant desire for innovation and renewal. Our ranges of sailing catamarans and Motor Yachts are designed, designed and upgradeable to meet the requirements of customers who are passionate about navigation, comfort and freedom. Naturally concerned with protecting the essential source of our ideal of life, we are attentive to reducing the marine footprint of our catamarans. We therefore offer the integration of renewable energy sources on all of our models. Our ECO-CRUISING and SMART CRUISING concepts considerably reduce the ecological impact of our boats and dedicate the clean energy of our sailboats.
Under the ownership of Tim Duncan the ever-popular custom-built Admiral 40, now renamed Celtic 40, is in production at Celtic Yachts new purpose-designed factory in Cape Town, South Africa. Celtic Yachts bought the moulds and rights to manufacture the Admiral 38 and 40 in 2011. Tim has a life-long interest in sailing and mucking about in boats. He purchased an Admiral 38 hull, deck and bulkheads from then Admiral Yachts and fulfilling a lifelong dream, launched Songbird in 2001. Since then Tim continues to be inspired to build solid, beautiful boats. While completing Songbird, Tim saw the opportunity to build quality interiors for boats. This earned him a reputation for producing excellent workmanship and service within the yachting industry. Both the Celtic 40 and Admiral 38 are perfect for short-handed sailing and provide excellent sailing performance and comfortable live-aboard experience, with the Celtic 40 offering added spacious live-aboard elegance. Enhanced features of the Celtic 40 include, a redesigned helm station allowing for ease of short-handed sailing, a new davit platform, moulded bimini ceiling, redesigned heads, more spacious forward and aft cabins, more locker space, extended saloon seating and a larger sliding door opening. Our luxury catamarans are designed by Angelo Lavranos. The Lavranos design aim: "Grace, Pace, Space” combines a unique blend of aesthetic design, engineering, and offshore experience. A true bluewater boat!

For more than 40 years, Heesen has pursued a consistent mission: to create yachts with exceptional standards of engineering and meticulous attention to detail. To achieve this, skilled hands, driven by a passion for perfection, make all the difference. They are able to fulfil every customer’s dream. Our craftsmanship is matched with a hunger for innovation, creating designs that continuously push the limit. But the Heesen experience goes beyond building a perfect yacht. It’s all about exceeding the client’s expectations with first-class service at all times. Founding father Frans Heesen had no idea of the adventure awaiting him when he acquired Striker Boats back in 1978. Now, almost four decades later, he has built a company renowned for producing some of the finest superyachts in the world. And although he stepped back from the company in 2012, his mission to create yachts that push the boundaries still lives on today. Though based on our proven engineering platform and tested hulls, each one of our semi-custom series is characterized by its own unique exterior design. A semi-custom superyacht represents the perfect choice for clients who want to rely on proven design while still being able to personalise the yacht to their taste and lifestyle. Heesen was the first superyacht build. The semi-custom proposition has parallels within the automotive industry, where even the most exclusive brands produce in lines rather than designing fully bespoke cars. The overall design and engineering is shared, but clients have the opportunity to completely customize their car through a range of options to make it their own. The semi-custom lines at Heesen work in the same way, but offer even greater potential for customization. Clients can decide on an existing hull type and superstructure and then personalise their yacht with their own choice of materials, colour schemes and interior outfitting, creating something that is one of a kind. When it comes to custom yacht building, Heesen can fulfil every client’s wish. Each one-off creation is designed to fully embody the owner’s vision and is coupled with Heesen’s exceptional standard of engineering and meticulous attention to detail. If you can dream it, Heesen can build it.
